Biography:
Ted Friend was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in July of 1949. He continued to reside on Vancouver Island, even after leaving the University of Victoria, choosing CFAX Radio as the starting point of his career in Broadcasting.
Ted started his own freelance Film and Video Production company in 1976, working with clients from both Canada and the USA - respectable clients, such as the Government of Canada, Air Canada and Walt Disney.
A 'Broadcast Entrereneur', Ted's career eventually moved from Radio to Television in 1985; the station was VU13 which later became Canwest Global.
Ted has been a Writer, Producer and Director of of all forms of film and video programming, as well as a Narrator and Animation Voiceover Talent since 1975.
Ted now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and continues to work in the film industry when the opportunity arises.
