Biography:

Johnny Shannon was an English actor. Best known for his role as gangster Harry Flowers in the cult film Performance, he appeared in numerous television and film productions over a 35-year period, often playing policemen or villains in crime dramas. Shannon had been an amateur boxer in his youth and was working as a trainer when he was asked to help James Fox prepare for his role in Performance. As a result, he landed the part of Harry Flowers.
