Biography:

Samson Neslund is a Swedish-born sound designer and supervising sound editor based at Skywalker Sound. His education included studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he built a foundation in music and audio before moving into film sound design. Over the past decade, he has contributed to major large-scale productions, often within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and high-profile animation. His credits include Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). In animation, he worked on films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Onward (2020), and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). Through his credit-rich career, he has accumulated recognition in the form of awards and nominations: his credits include two wins and eleven nominations across institutions such as the Motion Picture Sound Editors, USA (Golden Reel Awards), and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Primetime Emmy Awards).
