Zazie Olivia Beetz (born June 1, 1991) is a German-American actress. She has received various accolades, most notably an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Atlanta in 2018. Additionally, she has been nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards and Critics' Choice Movie Awards for her participation in high-profile film and television productions. She began her career appearing in short films before landing her first significant role in the movie Applesauce (2015).
