Biography:

Kate Freund grew up in Topanga Canyon, California. At the age of fourteen, she started writing and directing short films with her brother Matthew Freund. She attended Malibu High School then graduated from USC. In 2010, her French new wave web series Le Typewriter was nominated for a Webby.
